I AM A POET

I am a poet,
And it's not by chance,
Inspiring people through my pen and paper,
Is all I do,
Giving back hope to the souls,
Souls that have despaired in life,
Encouraging and holding their hands,
Make them see life in a bigger picture,
For a better tomorrow,
Cause hope is all they need.



I am a poet,
And not by chance,
Spreading love to both young and old,
Is what makes me happy,
Making them feel that there is someone who cares,
Someone who's concerned about them,
Cause all we need is love,
And love is in the air.



I am a poet,
And it's not by chance,
Making the world a better place,
Is what keeps me moving,
A world where all people are equal despite their races,
Where whites mix with the blacks and coloured,
A world free of crime,
Where people won't live in fear of their lives,
A world free of corruption,
Where the majority and the minority coexist freely,
A world free from wars,
That's the kind of world we need for children and children's children.
